New TU 795. Oldest account 15+ years dropped this month. 2 of 5 cards reporting a balance and that was listed as the only negative. Length of Credit History went from Very Good to Good. Previous score was 801 with the oldest account listed. 2 of 5 accounts reported a balance on that score as well so TU penalizes slightly for the shorter account history and did not like to see the 2 accounts reporting. Didn't matter with the longer account history. Just a credit tidbit.

you know there are those of us who eat this stuff up ![]()
You mention that you have two revolving accounts showing a balance - how many total accounts have a balance?

2 out of a total of 5 open accounts. Less than half of all my accounts but it mattered in this new situation. I might have been placed in another group within my scorecard I do not know. So as I said TU minded less when my oldest account was 15 years old that I let 2 accounts out of a total of 5 open accounts than now when my oldest account is only 10+ years old. Small stuff but I find this kind of thing interesting. Total loss of 6 points when a 15+ yo account dropped from my reports and left just a 10 yo account as my oldest.
Forgot to mention I went from
Great
Great
Very Good
Good
to
Great
Very Good
Good
Good
when the 15 yo account dropped so that portion of the Fico Estimator that asks for oldest established account does provide some useful info as I went from the 15year bracket to the 10 year bracket.
