The score change from utilization guessing game!

I am currently using a 0% APR intro and have added two BTs this month. Both BTs are from a non-reporting card so they don't factor into current Uti. They will be considered new large purchases.

So the game is guess the score drop.

All entries will receive at least one priceless Kudo

Whomever is closest will get at an autographed, by me, postcard of 1940s Bea Arthur

(with submittal of $5 S&H, your home address, and copy of your drivers license)

Total score changes should be known in less than 3 weeks.

Re: The score change from utilization guessing game!

Results will depend on your current scorecard assignment (clean or dirty, new credit or not), current score, Fico model and CRA.

Assuming Fico 8, a clean scorecard and current score of atleast 740, probably 20 to 30 points for the utilization change. Could be 5 points more if on a new credit scorecard ( AoYA under 12 months). If you get scores from all 3 CRAs, l'll go with an average drop of 25 for a clean scorecard with no new accounts  and 30 points if clean with new accounts.(reduce drops by 15 points if dirty file)

Going from 7 of 10 cards with balances to 9 of 10 will cost some additional points on EQ and TU but likely not EX - imo. Not a big factor but add 5 points to the above averages.

Fico 9: .......EQ 850 TU 850 EX 850
Fico 8: .......EQ 850 TU 850 EX 850
Fico 4 .....:. EQ 809 TU 823 EX 830 EX Fico 98: 842
Fico 8 BC:. EQ 892 TU 900 EX 900
Fico 8 AU:. EQ 887 TU 897 EX 899
Fico 4 BC:. EQ 826 TU 858, EX Fico 98 BC: 870
Fico 4 AU:. EQ 831 TU 872, EX Fico 98 AU: 861
VS 3.0:...... EQ 835 TU 835 EX 835
CBIS: ........EQ LN Auto 940 EQ LN Home 870 TU Auto 902 TU Home 950
