Unknown payment history

I have some accounts on my TransUnion credit report that have blanks/unknown for my account history.  Meaning it does not say OK when i paid on time nor does it say 30, 60, or 90 when I have been late.  Is this unknown/blank informaiton harmful to my score?  Do potential creditors assume that these blanks are negative information?

Re: Unknown payment history

In my experience, those blanks haven't affected my score in any way.  They're not automatically considered to be negative entries.

All it means is that no payment data was received by TU for that period. Since no negative information was received it is not hurting you, i.e. it is not counted as a late.

Do you have a lot of these blank entries? Do you have them on more that one TL? Which ones? On my TU report I have one "X" on Macy's which will by the end of the year will no longer show.

FYI If you are looking at a 3-way report (TC for instance) EQ does not provide payment history information.
