Re: Utilization/Always paying in full

So does anyone know how much the utilization of one card impacts score?  For example.  Let's say I have > 5% total util across all cards, but one card is at say 35%.

It impacts, but no one can tell you how many points, because it's different for each profile.

In my profile, if I have one card which goes to 30 or 31 percent, I get smacked about 7 points.

Re: Utilization/Always paying in full

Many people have noticed the penalty that SouthJ just mentioned.  Enough people to say that the following rule is probably fine for making practical decisions:

Less than 28.99% = zero penalty

Greater = a penalty, probably around what SouthJ mentions, though often a bit less

Other breakpoints are probably: 48.99%, 68.99% and 88.9%
