What Transunion scoring model is the range of 336 to 843?

I received my Transunion score from the credit union after applying for credit.

It shows a range of score from 336 to 843 for Transunion.

Is this an old model or a new one?

So it appears to be the TU 98 model, which if I am understanding correctly is an older model.

If that the version that most lenders use?

Is that the same version I but here at MyFICO?

No, it's not the version that most lenders use, which is currently the 04 model.  Myfico uses the 08 model for all three reporting agencies, which was recently upgraded from the 98 model for TU, and the 04 model for EQ.

So does that mean with the new 08 model my score would be lower than with the 98 model?

I could be higher or lower.  Things are weighed differently in each version.
