What happens when old good+bad accounts stop reporting?

I was just reviewing my CRs and saw that a bunch of old good accounts will stop reporting soon.  Will that have any effect on my scores?  For example, will my file be thinner which will cause my AAoA to be reduced?

On the other side, I see a bunch of baddies that are approaching the 7 year mark so they will be dropping off too. Maybe worth some points?

As you said your AAoA will go down and that might hurt. How much? No one can say IMO.

What kind of negatives and how many are fading away? This might have a positive effect. No one can say IMO.

I know I've given you two perfectly good "non answers"  Smiley Happy  but there really is no way to know what your net gain/loss will be.

Let us know what happens when all the smoke clears.

Re: What happens when old good+bad accounts stop reporting?

Thanks! I have a bunch of credit cards that were late (30, 60, 90 and 120+ days) plus a phone bill and two foreclosures. Those are the bad before my BK was filed/discharged.

Some of the good are paid mortages, car loans, credit cards in good standing ect...

I guess I'll just have to wait to see how it goes. All accounts after the BK have been 100% so the strength of those should be able to keep my scores up. It all might just even out.
