Hi all,
I am a bit confused. This is a collection showing on my credit report below. Can I expect this to fall off in Septembe 2011? Thanks!
Collection on debt to: Not Reported
The collection agency "291ya00000" was hired to collect a debt of $345 originally owed to "Not Reported" on account number "XXX8424".

None of these dates is what you need.
Tthe drop-off date of a collection reporting is the same as that of a CO. It is up to 7.5 years from the DOFD that led to the collection.
If you don't have your original records and the OC cannot tell you when you first went delinquent on this and never caught up (DOFD) pull your free reports from annualcreditreport.com. Experian and Transunion will have dates for how long this account will continue to report and Equifax will list the actual DOFD.
Some posters will tell you how unreliable the information from CRA's is but if that's all you have then that's all you have. In my limited experience the CR's have been very accurate.

Great, thanks. I will go on the annual report site and pull my reports. I appreciate the advice!
