Why Only One CRA?

Well, I'm growing up (23) and I guess adults are supposed to know about these things.  So I bought all three from myFICO - 756 from TU, 768 from EQ, and 778 from EX - and so good enough I guess.  My wife got 760 from EQ, but the others couldn't be purchased.

The biggest problem is that I don't have a history - 5 years for a CAP1 card, 3 for Target, 3 for Gap.  The only one I use is CAP1, and from what I've read I need to spread it around and just wait for time to pass.  What a pain, I like free points when I pay it off every time, but I think I can figure that out.

To the point, my wife tried purchasing the complete myFICO, but only EQ went through.  (I'm glad myFICO was smart enough to just charge standard.)  I get that she too has a limited credit history, but she has 5 cards and 2 student loans and stolen cards - something like 12 accounts.  Shouldn't the other guys pick up on all that at least as much as the picked up on me with just a few accounts?  Does it have to do with the answer she gave to her history?  Or has literally every company reported to EQ?

Thank You.

Re: Why Only One CRA?

A lot depends on where you live and the creditor. You could simply ask the creditor to report to all three. All they can do is say no. Smiley Happy
