Good morning, just wanted to keep a update to things. I checked my score again in Wells Fargo and its now at 779 ![]()
Here's what I did in just about a month:
- Paid the wells fargo balance (from around $1300 to 0), but then I needed new tires. Here's the Murphy's Law, I paid for them well before my due date (and it was pending for over a week), the day of the balance reporting for my card it gets posted.
- Paid off the other cards to a 0 balance (which I already was doing, not so really no change in my pattern).
- Kept the AU dept. card.
Do you think paying the Wells Fargo card was the culprit? Also, just my luck again I was involved in a serious accident caused by another driver, and my vehicle was demolished in the process. Do you think it would be beneficial to get a auto loan (most likely would pay off the car loan in less than a year)? Trying to get to the 800+ club
Thanks in advance.
If all your cards reported $0 at the same time (not counting AU), that would explain the drop (you didn't say how much it dropped), make sure at least one of your cards report a balance to avoid the All Zero penalty.
Edit: never mind my post, didn't realize there was page 1 for some reason. ![]()
