Yeah! Cap1 off Experian

Well as promised on their report, the 7 yo Cap1 CO is off Experian!

Hoping TU and Efx follow suit soon, they both had the same DOLA as Experian (which fell off on the right date according to my own records).

Experian just leaves the two Bally's COs. I had a credit guy dealing with them to see if they'd settle for delete or pay for delete, he hasn't gotten back to me but hoping they'll go for it, will give me a clear Experian.

Once it's off Cap1 that report is perfect too, currently stands at 720 as it is and I think given the 'bracket' that single unpaid CO is hurting me.

TU has a CO that I tried to SFD/PFD who said No and that falls off in December too, so in theory I will have three totally clean credit reports with scores in the mid-700s by January.

Not that that will do me any good in the current crisis but still.. beats the 500s from mid '07 yah?

'Funny' aside; I was waiting for the day it fell off to go apply for HSBC Overdraft at my Bank. Something tells me that 09/30/08 is not the day to ask anyone for credit.

Re: Yeah! Cap1 off Experian

nycc2--i am not quite understanding something--was the Cap1 CO unpaid?  I am trying to assess my odds of making it to SOL on an unpaid Cap1 CO without being sued.  It appears Cap1 is notorious for suing right before SOL.

I have a lot of baddies scheduled to fall off in the next 1 to 2 years.  Lucky for me, Cap1 is the first one scheduled to go and it is by far my worst baddie (mainly since they continue to add interest/fees and update reporting every month whereas my other baddies haven't updated or reported in years).  However, I am more concerned about making it to SOL than I am CRTP.  I would like to pay it if circumstances allow, but it seems that multiple CA's for multiple baddies like to team up on me at once, making it very difficutl to survive financially at times, so I am hoping that I can pay it on my own terms rather than end up being sued at an inopportune time.
