chase id protection fico score - why do they use a different scoring range?

just curious. i recently signed up with chase id protection and i was wondering why their fico scoring range was different than the one used here at myfico. the range they use is from 150 to 930, and as a result my scores are different too.

Because they aren't true Fico scores; they're "Fakos". If you take another look, you'll see they don't refer to them as Fico scores.

thanks for the response. i just checked again, took a closer look, and yup, they never use the term "fico" in their scoring system.

No score bought anywhere else other then here at myfico will be a real FICO score.  The others are all FAKOs scores and IMHO are generated by someone high on drugs.  And yes, I'm also using ChaseIDProtect at the moment.

BWAH HA HAH! I'm not so sure real FICO scores aren't generated in the same fashion, though...

The non-FICO scores aren't really worth following.  They're calculated by a different formula.  There's no way to convert a non-FICO score to a FICO score; it's not like Fahrenheit versus Celsius.
