how long did it take for your scores to go from the 600s to 700s
how long did it take for your scores to go from the 600s to 700s
I am guessing that what you really want to know is how long it would take for your scores to get 700. Taking a poll won't help you answer that because it depends a ton on what your reports look like now and what you are able to do. The answer could be five weeks or five years.
But if you tell people what your credit cards are, how much you owe and the limit on each, and what all your derogs are (lates, collections, chargeoffs, liens, judgments, public records, bankruptcy, etc.) then the folks on the forum can advise you.
1 day to forever, it depends on a lot of factors.
If you decide to provide a more complete overview of your credit profile it would be helpful in giving you a more specific path to 700+ scores.
pipeguy is correct, it all depends on what you have going on with your personal credit report.
You can be in the 600's with tons of negative items and high utilization that you have no way of paying down/off. Such a person could take 5-7 years to get their scores into the 700's. Conversely you could have someone else that has just 1 major negative item on their credit report and high utilization. They get the 1 negative item removed today and pay off all of their debt today, dropping their utilization way down and within a few weeks once those accounts are updated BAM, they're in the 700's.
