new account - as each month goes by does it hurt your score less?

I have one account that is only 10 months old.  Score watch says this is hurting my score.  Will it hurt my score less when it is 11 months old?

Re: new account - as each month goes by does it hurt your score less?

thanks.   I had seen that it actually may become a positive at the 1 year anniversary.  I was just wondering whether the negative effect was gradually removed month by month.  i.e. I would assume a 1 month old account would ding you more than a 10 month old account.  I was just wondering whether I may get one or two points for it aging from 10 months to 11 months.  Since it will age in a couple of days by one month and because I sort of could benefit from 1 or 2 pts right now, it would be relevant to know.  By 12 months I think it could be moot becuase I'll be done with my refi.
