Hello,
I am perhaps not using the right keywords to search for this, but I am trying to find information on the credit designation, used by at least Experian, of "emerging consumer."
What does this mean? I know "thin file" or "no file," but "emerging consumer" is new to me. I can guess at what it means, but I'd like a real authoritative answer on this.
Specifically, for how long will someone with "emerging consumer" on their credit score maintain this designation before that is removed? A year? Two years?
Any help is appreciated. This has been exceedingly frustrating, and all I have been able to find are white papers on emerging consumers, the concept, not the credit designation used by Experian.
Thanks very much.
