what is fico score 8?

hello all, i just got a report from experian with ficoscore8? what is this and do mortgate loan look at this or some other fico score??

Fico 8 is simply one flavor of FICO scores. It is probably the most commonly used but that doesn't mean everyone uses it. Mortgage companies do not use it generally speaking.

They use FICO 5 (Eq) FICO 4 (TU) & FICO 2 (Exp) mostly for mortgages. They can be pulled from MyFico, for a fee.
