'Back' != same area on last page

When I browse forums (any forums, and most other regular pages as well), go down maybe half a page and click on a link (a thread in this board's case) it opens and I read it. When I hit the 'Back' button I'm used to being taken back to the exact spot on the last page I was browsing as opposed to the top of the page, necessitating me having to scroll down to the right spot (and the scroll is slow). It's hard to remember exactly where I was. I use Firefox but this doesn't happen on any other site I browse. Can this be fixed?

Thanks.

Hey Raisitup,

I have made note of this and sent it to the proper people. Smiley Happy
