Edited thread gets removed?

Created a "chase ink" thread, made an edit, now it's gone?

Re: Edited thread gets removed?

This happens sometimes when you edit a post too many times (though sometimes too many could just be one edit when you're a fairly new member... )  -- the post gets auto-filtered as spam accidently.   Post the issue in the 'technical help' section and one of the mods will come along shortly and restablish the original post so you don't have to retype the entire thing.

Edited thread gets removed?

Was told to post it here to get reinstated. Your filters are faulty since none of the post was even close to spam related.

No this isn't the case on at least part of it.. The spam filter marks some stuff as spam on mistake and we have no control over it, but can recover stuff that gets sent to spam by posting in this board or pm'ing a moderator.  You are correct on one thing we can lock threads if they are very old or go against the TOS of the forum.  Hope this helps explain it a bit better as stated we don't control the spam filter and as @gdale6 stated your thread was restored from said spam filter that mislabeled as spam.
