Am I the only one getting the banner for the secured banner for the kick start visa from FNBO on this site or are others seeing this as well?  I think I am past the secured card thing with scores just north of 700. Wondering if all are receving this banner or targeted at certain profiles.. Kinda annoying, wonder if I can block it anyways as it sticks out like a soar thoumb?

No im getting it too. but here at my fico only. This is obviously some collaboration between fico and Fnbo

@Willwar14,

Are able to see this site after using an adblocker? It looks like some tech blogs are reporting some companies prevent you from viewing their site if you use an adblocker.. Just want to make sure MyFico isn't one..

No blocking of myfico

Your not alone! Check my scores ... why would I get it? The thing I find most interesting is FNBOmaha does not accept regular credit card applications except from seven states. Those on this board who got in using an end run are now locked out Smiley Happy

Just annoying is all as I have worked hard to rebuild my credit and see this banner every time lol..  I dunno why, just rubs me the wrong way as it is the biggest banner / advertisement by far for anyone!  Guess they want the secured deposit to invset and make $ of the deposits!

Lol sorry you thrased the pre-approval Smiley Sad.. Nah enough other lenders out there other than FNBO I rather deal with personally.  If you don't live in their service area they kinda make it a nightmare if I lived in say Omaha, NE I could probably go in open an account and get a CC without an issue.

The banner is extremely annoying, indeed. I've gotten used to the prior advertisements above the new banner to the point that I don't even notice them anymore. Today, it was a "whoa, what the hell is this" moment. It's not a problem on the desktop, but it's a pain on other devices.
