HELP REMOVING PAYMENT ERROR MESSAGE

A few months ago, I had a billing issue with a card I had on file and my payment was not processed.  When I logged on to provide another form of payment, an error message posted to my account asking me to update the form of payment.  I DID.  My bank has been paying the account as agreed and there are NO PAYMENT ISSUES. However, I CANNOT get this error message to go away and its a huge inconvenience as it pops up on my desktop as well as my mobile app, making me x off it every single time.  CAn you please tell me how to remove this message once and for all?
