I initially signed up for the forum in a separate account @Pizzarina_Sbarro which I'm now locked out of. Something about the sign up questions asking for personal information and that being tied to my myFICO subscription made me nervous for the two to be connected. (I realize now it's not a big deal). Anyways, I apparently forgot that password and got locked out of that account because I kept entering the wrong one. I filled out the contact form on the website for customer and they said "Our apologies we must redirect you to the Forums administrator" so I hope this is the right place!
I also can't do a 'forgot password' because I ended up creating the profile that I'm currently posting from (I was eager to post to the forum again!) and now they're both linked to the same email, so doing a reset only goes to this account. Having two accounts feels silly since I have a post history and stuff on my other account that provides context for other forum posters. Can mods help me? I can verify information with the other account if necessary. (Sorry I know this is a dumb problem to have and I know it's also somewhat self-inflicted...)
Hi @Anonymous, if you want to abandon the old account and move forward using this new one I can ban the old one (our TOS only allows one account per member) but unfortunately myFICO forum moderators don't have access to password/login info.
That said, it might still be possible to access your old account with the help of myFICO Customer Service.
They can be reached at 1-800-319-4433 (Mon - Fri 6am to 6pm Pacific Time, Sat 7am to 4pm Pacific Time).
Edited to add: Here's an idea that might help you use the automated password reset on the other account... change the email address on this account on the myFICO dashboard to another email address. Once you do that, the old account should be the only account associated with the old email and it might allow a reset via the website. If that doesn't work then Customer Service will be your only option to retrieve it.

This worked like a charm! I'm back in the old account. Can't believe I didn't think of that.

My bad, I was just confused in cyberspace and violating TOS was an accident! You can ban this one, thanks for your help.

I'm glad that worked. No worries on the new account, I can take care of it.
Welcome back, @Pizzarina_Sbarro!
