I can't get a code sent to my phone

At first this wasn't happening because I didn't have my phone # in the system.  Now I do and nothing.  I really really want SW alerts sent to my phone.

I entered my cell number for text alerts and never get them because the code was never sent to me. I tried

the resend the code several times and still nothing.

I get the email alerts but would love to get the text alerts also becasue it's easier for me to see who's texting me than having

to check my email via cell phone.

I have unlimited texts so that's not the problem.

I have a Samsung Adroid .
