Post count going backwards?

When I logged in this morning I had 3939 posts... posted on three different posts since then (not in smorgasboard) now have 3937 posts... how does that work!?

With this post I should be at 3942. Now makes me wonder how many more might be missing.

I've been making the case for weeks that signed on minutes are not being counted. Finally got someone from FICO CS to respond. Still no solution response. I take a screen shot when I sign in and out. Compare when I sign back in. It has gone three times without a minutes increase. Also, some sign ins don't count. Haven't seen it go backwards-yet.

I just looked at your profile and it is showing you at 3,951.

Yes it's going back up, but that day it went down two.... was just weird.. 

A couple weeks ago my profile flickered when the page was loading and it showed 1740 posts for a few seconds,  then back to normal.. 

 Just some weird glitch Idk ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

My guess is it may have been some kind of system glitch, as I've commented in another thread, I've never seen a way now or as a prior moderator that a user's post count could be reduced.
