Last night, I signed up for the three-bureau credit monitoring with FICO score. It said that I needed to call to verify my identity. I just called. The agent asked for my name and address and SS#. After that, she put me on hold and came back on to tell me that Equifax says I can't get any information. My only option was to cancel my subscription and get a refund. I don't understand what the issue is. I completed a Chapter 13 earlier this month. The lady said it might be too soon after the Chapter 13. But it's my understanding that I can get my FICO score pretty much any time I need it. I have no idea what's going on nor what I need to do next. I am saving to buy a home, and I need to boost my credit rating over the next several months.
