Re: FICO 3-Bureau Credit Monitoring Issues and Troubleshooting

So what is the deal? Do we have to go out of our ways to contact them to have this thing fixed? I feel like a fool for paying money to go out of my way to get the info that should have been delivered right the first time. Not a happy camper.

Finally getting alerts on TU and EX, had to call earlier and have a heated argument with the rep.

I did not have a whole lot of fun with phone reps either.  Basically I was told that everything is working as it should and that there have been no other reports of issues.  Seriously??  I have put in an on-line request for support.  I am hoping that will help resolve these issues.

Same thing I was told, she kept insisting it was working fine and to give it a week or so, lol are you kidding me? I finally told her I would be contacting the BBB and what they are doing is not right and hung up.

Then all of a sudden my alerts are now working with updated scores.

Re: FICO 3-Bureau Credit Monitoring Issues and Troubleshooting

I contacted the support team and submitted a support incident onlline. It appears to have been a waste of time.

I signed up for 3B monitoring on the 22nd. In spite of multiple changes to my reports, I have received no alerts from EX or TU.

They made no effort to troubleshoot my account. There was no mention of problems needing to be worked out. They seem to think that everything is already working fine.

I received the following response:

"Thank you for contacting myFICO Customer Care. The 3 Bureau Credit Monitoring Service does allow you to monitor all 3 credit reports and FICO scores. Please keep in mind that not all credit bureaus update their information at the same time to myFICO. Give more time for any new account activity change or updates to occur and the bureaus to update the info to myFICO. Once they generate the information to us you will receive an alert of the change and a new score update if your score has changed as well."

Re: FICO 3-Bureau Credit Monitoring Issues and Troubleshooting

So I got an email back from the support team. They said they cannot assist me via email and they want me to call them. They were really quick with their response and basically said they need more information. I was very detailed in my email but it's comforting that they're willing to work out the issue.

Ill call them tomorrow and update with what I find out. Personally, I think they're getting hammered and are delegating to a special team or group to resolve these issues.

Starting Score-(01/2017): FICO ||EX:575--EQ:549--TU:588||
Current Score--(04/2018): FICO ||EX:686--EQ:697--TU:715||

I submitted a support ticket this morning and I haven't heard anything. Hope they start looking at this as a whole not just as a case by case Smiley Sad

Re: FICO 3-Bureau Credit Monitoring Issues and Troubleshooting

What stinks is the only people who seem to get the updates are the ones who go through support. Personally I believe it should work up front but each user may have unique issues with the CRA requirements that may need to be addressed on an individual basis until they have enough data to fully move forward.

I'm still hopeful lol, they have until the end of the month for me.

I fear that going through "support" may not be a good option anymore.  I have gone through phone support and the on-line support, with both basically saying there is no issue and that they have not had any other reports of issues.  The on-line support added that the three CRA's do not all report at the same time, which had nothing to do with what I was inquiring about.

I am still hopeful as well.  Although we are basically being ignored or told that there is no issue, I am hopeful that behind the scenes the IT folks are working hard on this issue.  Perhaps I am being too optimistic, but I a trying to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Re: FICO 3-Bureau Credit Monitoring Issues and Troubleshooting

Soooooo, I just called the support line. The rep was nice but basically said there was nothing they could do since it takes time for each bureau to update. This was after he put me on hold when I told him EQ was the only service updating. They must have some process to go through and explain how its supposed to work or an excuse...I don't really know. I explained to him that I use USAA daily report pulls and multiple other monitoring services that show that my reports are being updated. I also said that I was trying to switch to their service as my monthly service and get rid of the other ones that I have. He said the only thing that they could do was to push my issue up to tech support so they created a ticket or whatever for that and they will be calling back in 24-72 hours.

Hopefully its resolved eventually or I will have to submit a complaint through USAA and the credit card I put this service on to recall the charge. If thats even possible. I've saved all the advertisements, emails and support pages reflecting how they say the product will work. Worst case is that I guess I'll have to use the BBB. Hopefully they resolve the issues by the end of the month so I don't have to go through all that garbage. It just stinks, I was really looking forward to this product.

Lol I'm still hopeful for when they call me back.

when i log in my dashboard shows that my scores are based on data from 8/28/14 which is when i signed up. if it monitors it daily shouldn't the date change? i know i have had several payments report since then that would qualify to have an alert sent according to my settings but i havent recieved any as of yet. it may in fact be working as it should but was just wondering.

3-Bureau monitoring product monitors for changes to your credit file. Scores on the dashboard do not update unless you either have a credit alert resulting from the monitoring feature that also contains an update to your score (not all credit alerts will create a change in score - the score may in fact, stay the same) or a new credit report is purchased/pulled. The score associated with the "based on data from" reflects either the latest credit alert which also contained an updated FICO score, an Equifax score alert (only Equifax allows for some additional settings) or a new report pull. Cat Happy
