FICO standard reports - AFNI tradeline missing on TU and EX

I've spent much of the weekend comparing DH's FICO reports.  I pulled all 3 on Saturday and checked them account by account to find inconsistencies.  I just realized that tha AFNI collection TL is only showing up on the myFICO report for EQ.  It's NOWHERE TO BE FOUND on the TU and EX reports!

I went to CreditSecure to compare all the recent reports, including today, and AFNI shows up for all 3 bureaus.  On CS there's one line for AFNI which includes the TLs for TU and EX.  The next account is AFNI, Inc. shows EQ's TL for AFNI.  On CS all three agencies show AFNI as a collection account with a balance of $96.

Why isn't this showing up in the reports from myFICO?

I compared the myFICO reports for both June and August.  I had pulled all 3 reports both months.  AFNI consistently is only on EQ.

I also compared the reports from the credit bureaus themselves.  All 3 of the reports provided by the credit bureaus have AFNI listed with the $96 balance.

EQ has consistently had the lowest FICO score for DH.  Now I wonder whether it's lower because it's the only one where AFNI is included.  I have to wonder whether the FICO scores I'm getting on myFICO are inflated for TU and EX just because myFICO can't seem to find AFNI for those CBs.

It disturbs me that myFICO can't find the data that CreditSecure and the other CBs can find.

Wow, interesting dilemma! I like for myFICO reports to be exact, too, but on the other hand, isn't there something to be said for letting sleeping dogs lie?

edit to add sudden thought: is the AFNI for EQ on the accounts screen, or on the collections screen? Is there anything showing on the collections screen on TU and EX?

You're a genius HTSU.  I wasn't looking at the collections.  AFNI is listed with the collections on TU and EX.

My mistake. Smiley Surprised

No, I'm just so confused by collections, and why they're sometimes one place and sometimes another, and when they're a tradeline and when they're not, and everything else, that I just throw all my confusion out there! Smiley Happy

Re: FICO standard reports - AFNI tradeline missing on TU and EX

For the record, let me just state that I HATE the way myFICO lists collection accounts. The collection section isn't formatted nearly as readable as the the accounts section.  50% of the lines on each separate collection say "Not Reported".  Talk about useless information.

I've been analyzing credit reports all weekend, so my eyes (and my mind) aren't too sharp at this point.

Thanks for your help!Smiley Wink
