No, they didn't give specific reasons why I was declined, how could they? I wasn't declined! Not only did I get instant approval, I got the card, and I had the card for a week or two before they sent me that stupid secured card app! A month after getting the card, I asked for a CL increase and got it without them pulling a report! Not as much as I wanted, but no CL increase is ever as much as I want. They just have something wrong in the software that markets that stupid secured card of their. But I consider it an insult to be offered a secured card, and I'm going to get even with them by writing out one of the 0% no fee BT checks they gave me to myself and putting the money in the bank, earning interest on their money. Oh, on an unrelated note, do you know if anyone has ever tried just calling up and asking for another year at 0% when the first year is about up? My wife has a 0% on purchases about to expire, and I feel like having her call them up and telling them, hey, guys, you can either give me another free year, or I pay the balance, your choice.

You should be getting a denial letter with the reasons.

No no, you're not understanding what I'm saying. I'm not going to be getting any denial letter. I've got the card I applied for; not only that, a month or so after getting it, I did an online balance increase request, which was approved! What I'm saying is that whatever stupid marketing software they use to market their secured cards doesn't search for potential customers in the right way; somehow it interpreted me as a "disapproved applicant who might have interest in a secured card" when what I really am is an "approved applicant who would throw a secured card application in the trash".
