New member with issues (Simulator, Alert & Score Changes?)

New member with issues

I signed up for the three credit agency monitoring, alerts and scores product.

The first issue I'm having is that it will not allow me to use the simulator. I have a mortgage, installment loan and 4 credit card accounts. Also, a couple revolving authorized user accounts.

This is the primary reason why I wanted the service/product so I can figure out what actions to take so I can get a much-needed home improvement loan.

I've only had the service/product for about a week now and every time I attempt to call regarding the primary issue and they're closed or I'm unable to reach a live person. For example today, it's a holiday.

The first issue I'm hoping that someone here haves the power to either reset my account so I get the simulator, fix the issue or provide me with a partial refund.

Second issue is more curiosity. I got my first alert today from Equifax. It didn't change my Equifax FICO 9 - the main score I think. Wondering however though if it could've changed all the other scores like auto or bankcard? If so would it tell me how to those scores got changed by the alert? Or do I only get them scores once?

I would like to think the community in advance for any assistance and advice you have to offer.

Re: New member with issues (Simulator, Alert & Score Changes?)

Hello there,

Additional scores like auto, mortgage etc., do not update with this service. Ever, unless you pay to pull reports again. If they updated at least once a month or were also part of the alert monitoring I think the $5 price increase would be more reasonable but as of now its not.

Simulator - Also does not update and always uses the same information from the first day of service. If you can't access it at all that sounds like a technical service issue. Unfortunately as you've experienced their customer service is about 95% horrible. I would call back and ask for a supervisor, if they can't resolve the issue cancel and request a refund. I'd also like to note the simulator isn't an exact science or guarantee so take the information with a lump of salt. Smiley Happy

Posting here is good to get others experiences but myFICO customer service reps do not respond, keep up with or help with any service issues/concerns on this forum. Seems like it would be logical for them to have a couple helpers monitor their own forum but NOPE. Too much like good customer service. There used to be one person who came around now and then to assist but I haven't seen them post for months now. Your options are emailing or calling myFICO directly. Hope this helps a little.
