Possible Score Change - If we were to put lower Score below current Score?

Has anyone tried this?  Just curious if there was some way to force a score change.  I have paid several accounts down to 0 or 1%.  However, after looking at my alerts for the year, it doesn't appear that I ever received an alert for lower utility.

I noticed that I did not receive the normal alerts - due to account changes for the better.

MyFico should have an extra alert just for lower utility.

It appears no one seems to get an alert for paying down their account - if that's the only change.

In my instance, I received alerts for balances that reported higher than last month, now those 4 accounts have the 0 or 1% utility and I have not received any alerts since paying those down.  Now the normal alert dates for each individual account has passed.

It seems myFico wants us to purchase our reports when we know that our score should be higher.

I have one account that I have not used since 2006 - I guess I will force a "new activity" and "balance increase" score change by a small purchase.

I heard setting the trigger to your current score worked.  Did that 2 days ago and no result yet.

alerts do not come for balance decreases.

If there are no changes causing alerts, then MyFICO checks every 7-10 days for any score change.

This is why DW and I got alerts - balances had gone down - no alerts.

One balance went up - alert and check for score change.
The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid

I tried changing my Target Score since I originally posted - No Alerts have been received!

Setting Target Score to your current score appears to be working.

A week ago I was at 702, so I set my Target Score to 702. It alerted me when I hit 705 three days ago. At that point, I changed Target Score to 705 again, and just now, it reported a balance increase in one of my accounts and a +7 on my score.

The solution seems stupid... but hey, I get the SMS notices.
