Score went up 28 points, NO SW ALERT

Brought SW Feburary 18, at this time my score is 550.

Paid off some balances (i know they won't alert me)

had 1 baddie collections removed. (know they won't alert me)

But score never changed. So today i finally brought a FICO standard report, and guess what? My score is now 578. YEA

While i was at it i also brougt a TU FICO standard and my score is 595 (WOW so close to 600). The collection account was gone from TU.

EQ: The collection was gone, one of them anyway (it was actually reporting twice) however, only one came off (will dispute the other).

Anyway what gives, why did i not receive a alert? I know my score went up but it kept saying no changes, i even have it set a 550 and still no changes. So confused and frustrated. I've been checking myfico and my yahoo account at least 3-4 times a day. (probaly more LOL) and still no alert.

Hi Celle3,
The only reason I can suggest for why you weren't alerted to the score change is that score changes are only monitored weekly and that you would have received an alert if you hadn't pulled that report.  In that case, you could still get one.  Other than that, I'll confess I'm at a loss.  Smiley Sad
