TU Report Issues

On July 9 I ordered a TU report and when I tried to run the simulator and it did not work. I called customer service and was told I purchased the report from myfico.com/12 even though I did the same thing I always did to order, but hey I could have made the mistake. Well today I made sure I followed the same steps and the same thing has happened. Some feedback on this would be great.

Hi elsdog,

While the credit reports and scores purchased from myfico.com/12 are no different from those bought directly from myFICO, except for:

  • no simulator
  • more negative reasons -- 4 in most cases -- but no positive reasons
  • the reason code explanations don't include specific information from your credit report, i.e. # months since late, util %, etc.

Also, be aware that once you visit that site, a 45 day (I believe) cookie is placed so you'll keep coming back.  You'll have to remove that cookie if you want to return to purchasing directly from myFICO.
