There are minimum scoring requirements in order for a score to be generated. Make sure all of these apply:

  • At least one account that has been open for six months or more
  • At least one undisputed account that has been reported to the credit bureau with in the past six months
  • No indication of deceased on the credit report (Please note: if you share an account with another person this may affect you if the other account holder is reported deceased).

Do you have your credit files frozen at the bureaus?

To repeat what llecs posted above:

There are minimum scoring requirements in order for a score to be generated. Make sure all of these apply:

  • At least one undisputed account that has been reported to the credit bureau with in the past six months

Do all three of these apply to you? It sounds like maybe not, since you're mentioning the six-month-old account thing.

If not, you won't have a FICO score. You will have a report, but not a FICO score.

As soon as you have all three of these (an account that is at least 6 months old + an undisputed account that has updated within the last 6 months + not be dead), you will have a FICO score on that report.

Presumably you're good on #3. Smiley Wink
