APPROVING BANK: Huntington
BUREAU PULLED: Transunion
CREDIT SCORE: 605
CUSTOMER STATE OF RESIDENCE: OH
NEW/USED: New
YEAR OF VEHICLE: 2013
MAKE: Mazda
MODEL: CX-5 AWD Grand Touring

AMOUNT OF LOAN: 23, 213

MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: Could not believe I got that great of APR% with my credit score. I has pre approvals from Capital one and Roadloans for around 8.5%. I could have left with no money down too, but I knew going in I was going to put $$ down to lower the monthly payments. I ended up puting $4000 down and getting $3700 on my trade (which was a steal for the shape it was in Smiley Tongue)

My Wallet: Amex BCP $19.5K | BOA Cash Rewards $15K | BOA Better Balance $10K | Cap One Venture $10K | Cap One QS $3K | Chase Freedom $4.5K | Barclay Rewards WMC $5K | Citi Simplicity $8.4K | Discover It! $2K | Huntington Voice $5K | PNC Cash Builder VS $17.5K | Total Rewards VS $12K | Sams Club $7.5K

Re: Auto Loan Approvals!

This is for my BF:

APPROVING BANK: Acura Financial Services
BUREAU PULLED: Not sure
CREDIT SCORE: 703
CUSTOMER STATE OF RESIDENCE: CA
NEW/USED: New
YEAR OF VEHICLE: 2013
MAKE: Acura
MODEL: ILX
MILEAGE: 24
RETAIL/LEASE: Lease
AMOUNT OF LOAN:
TERM CONTRACTED: 36 mo
APR/LEASE RATE:
MONTHLY PAYMENT: $363
ANNUAL INCOME: ~$80,000
MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: My BF applied online at Acura for the current lease specials (through 10/31/12). Didn't get immediate approval but received an email about an hour later that he was approved for 33k. Brought the approval certificate into the dealer and it was a pretty easy transaction. Zero drive off (meaninig zero $$$ up front) and payments of $363. The same model without the bells and whistles would have been $300 month. Also, could have received a lower payment for money up front.

AMOUNT OF LOAN:  $24,850.00
TERM CONTRACTED:  72 mos
APR/LEASE RATE:  4.49%
MONTHLY PAYMENT:  $395.00
ANNUAL INCOME:  $57k
MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY:  My wife and I just had our first child and lugging a carseat in and out of our 2 door Honda Civics was a HUGE hassle  (we both have the same type of car).  We had been looking at purchasing a small Crossover/SUV but kept putting it off because of our credit score and I recently finished a rehab process on my SL's but wanted to wait until it was actually reflected on my credit reports.  Long story short - I called CU and they denied me.  Found a family member co-signer and we were going to go purchased next weekend.  Decided to go test drive ahead of time, fellin love the the CR-V and decided to have them run my credit since the inquiry wouldn't go against me.  They got me in to the car I wanted, payments $5 below my max and a shockingly low APR of 4.49%.  I'm still baffled by that....

APPROVING BANK: Wells Fargo Dealer Services
BUREAU PULLED: TransUnion
CREDIT SCORE: 555
CUSTOMER STATE OF RESIDENCE: CA
NEW/USED: USED
YEAR OF VEHICLE: 2011
MAKE: LEXUS
MODEL: IS250
MILEAGE: 20,000
RETAIL/LEASE: RETAIL
AMOUNT OF LOAN: 27,700
TERM CONTRACTED: 72
APR/LEASE RATE: 8.79%
MONTHLY PAYMENT: $497
ANNUAL INCOME: $72,000
MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: I had a BK discharged 7 months ago.  I tried Lexus financial, but they would only approve 20K at 17%, even though I am repeat customer. Went to Carmax, 3 lenders were 15% + , but Wells came in at 8.79%.  So I drove off with a payment under $500.  In contrast, 5 years ago with tier 1, through Toyota Financial I had a 5.9% on a camry.  So can't complain.
