DCU Auto Loans

So, I am wondering if anyone who has financed through DCU can tell me about the application process? I submitted an app the other day and just got an email saying:


Thank you for your interest in an auto loan with Digital Federal Credit Union. Please call 800-328-8797 and reference application #xxxxxx, we have a decision for you.

I know I should just call, but I am nervous! I don't want to call to be told I am denied... I applied online so I could be disappointed in private lol.

Any sage advice, besides the obvious buck up and make the call!?

We had an auto loan with DCU about 5 years ago.  I can't remember how we applied for it.  I would give them a call.  DCU reps are usually pretty nice and you if you do get denied you could ask questions as to why and they might even reconsider if there were questions you could clarify.  Don't be embarrased if you are denied, no reason to be.

I think everyone has to call before they approve.

I refi'd my car last month. App'd Sat evening, they called me Monday morning. Quick and easy
