Went to CU for a preapproval on a new auto loan. Got approved for 3.75%. what are the odds the dealer would be able to beat it?
They pulled transunion and got a 718. i had just pulled from fico and had a 736 and was surprised the difference. could this be becuase of auto enhanced score??
However, you have to compare the interest rate and price.
On many zero percent deals, the dealership charges more money (top dollar) for the price of the vehicle. The rate is actually built into the purchase price.
So if you are a good negotiator, better to pay a little interest and substantially reduce the price of the vehicle. Do the math.
