Bankruptcy Question

I pulled my credit report today and noticed that I have a Chase Credit Card account that was included in the Chapter 7. However, my Equifax report shows this account as "Charge-Off" status rather than "Included in Bankruptcy" which is how the rest of my cards show. Delinquency for this card was first reported 10/2004 and Bankruptcy was discharged 5/2006. Does this negatively impact my FICO score, and if so, what should I do to correct it? I also have a collections account (Cable) that was discharged in my Bankruptcy which is still showing. Is this something that I can (or should) attempt to PFD in order to get it off of there before my 7 years is up? I wish I had found these forums a day sooner. I just paid off two other collections account and didn't even know about the PFD process. Hopefully they will be willing to consider a GW removal...

Re: Bankruptcy Question

My husband has co-signed on a series of St Loans, and now with being upside down on our mtg, and all deferring options have been exhausted, with SMAE,  could we file for bk (the loans  are our daughters, who cannot afford her half,we divided the mo payment) but now were looking at 70,000. and even with refi them she'll never be able to afford them., could we as co-signers file over her? She went bk 5 years\ago.?
