are swipe fees etc higher with bus cards?

Seems like I've read that swipe and merchant fees are generally higher when you use a business card. Curious if that's correct.

I think in the past it was possible but I don't think anymore.

Yes, business cards, like rewards cards and foreign issued cards, generally incur higher interchange fees than standard no frills cards. However, that depends on the processor, some charge a flat rate for all cards and some larger merchants can sometimes negotiate lower fees.
