AMEX Recon Help!

Hello! 

I am needing help with Amex recon. I went on a shopping spree last week and the results are in order of which i app'd first:

Capital One QS1 - Instant approval 1k

Chase Freedom Unlmited - Instant approval - $3,500

Amex BCE Preferred - Instadenial

Citi AAdvantage - Instadenial (Really want the Citi DC, app'd the wrong card)

Bank Of America Cash Rewards - Instant Approval - $2k

Wells Fargo Amex Propel - Went pending; called the backdoor number and approved for 2k; Called underwriter and increased limit to $3,500

Before the spree I only had a Discover IT secured card with a $2,500 limit which i've had for 5 months (Always PIF)

I tried calling AMEX recon but that didn't work. Only a level 1 rep who said they will forward it to the manual review team which was denied. TWICE. So i've decided to write a letter to the executive office with a reasoning for the denial in hopes of turning it around - I can't seem to find where to send this letter. Does anyone have any input?

No Baddies (They fell off a couple months ago)

At the time Amex pulled my score the letter stated EX was 706

Currently they are:

EQ 707 TU 700 EX 722

I think they sometimes like to see a bit more history bf approving with them

Anyone have an address to send the recon letter?

Doing a recon with Amex is pretty hard in terms of getting the denial overturned. I would just hold off and let the new accounts report and build a little solid history first.

Still need an address. I've read somewhere to send the letter to the address on the denial letter. Is this my best shot?

Call and ask to speak to a credit analyst about your app that should get you transferred not just saying someone in the credit department.

You've already tried recon and it didn't work. Wait 6 months and re-apply. But congrats on the other approvals!

Not true, i was denied all 3 off my aps. Got the Recon and got 

aporoved! Just call and try again.
