Amex Delta Gold Recon Help

I recently applied for the Amex Delta Gold card for the travel reward benefits. My EX score was a 659. I'd like to try to recon but I don't know what to say or who to call. Any advice?

Amex is not really big on recons. It will sit in the progress state for a few weeks and will come back with a denial again; at least that's been my experience. But they approved me a month later with a 628 EX FICO in April and then BCE in may at 684 FICO and Lester again on May for the Platinum at 696FICO. Amex is wired like that. I suggest give it some time and then try again. Good luck!
