Amazon Chase Visa Approval!

So everyone is posting about the card, and I'd figured I app for it before heading to the garden for a solid while.

I app'd and got the 30 day message. Called the status line five minutes later and got approved with a 1K SL! Got my foot in the door, and I'm super happy to be with Chase for the first time.

Question: I don't want to be greedy, but 1K isn't too useful and was wondering if I should call the support line and request a CLI. Anyone with experience with this type of situation it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks to everyone on this amazing forum

I think with chase the card has to be 6 months old before asking a cli? I might be wrong?

You can call and ask for a CLI, but it might be another HP.  If you do you might want to ask prior to requesting if they need one.

@CreditCuriousity it was another hard pull, and unfortunately wasn't approved for a CLI. But since I'm still a student, and have no foreseeable loans or housing applications I was fine with it. They'll drop off in two years, so off to the garden I go

Generally CLI's are HP with Chase on the Amazon card. I've tried many times over the years and they won't budge.

@Joe it's true, same with Targets RC so many people just want that extra 5% 👍🏼
