But not as nice as FinStar's, unfortunately.
I recently started the process of joining UNFCU so that I can get a "true" chip and PIN Visa card. It took a fairly long while due to the holidays to get the initial checking/savings account, but once that was done and funded I applied for the Elite late last night. This morning I got a counteroffer:
I count it as an approval in my book but it still would have been nice to get the Elite. My income is greater than their minimum for the Elite too (and my scores are >800) so I'm not sure why the hesitation. Perhaps I can PC it later after showing some history?

- Azure instead of Elite--the difference being that the latter has no FTF and lounge access.
- 50% of my requested CL.

Congratulations tmiw!!! A very proud accomplishment with UNFCU indeed. This is new territory for me with UNFCU so I don't know about PC "flexibility" just yet... I'm sure we'll elarn as we go given your card is only a couple months younger than mine.
Congrats on your nice approval!
Congrats strange they countered you due to your scores and meeting the income requirements... Did you fail the age test they require lol? Impressive none-the-less!

CC that was a mix up on my UNFCU approval thread. I think ddemari had a caption/snapshot from a different lender (i.e. Thailand) that had age-restrictions for their CCs. UNFCU doesn't have that thankfully. Only the Elite has the minimum income requirement.
Congrats
