My story,
I've been rebuilding for about 22 months. I have worked my way up to a BCP with 3K limit, Discover 6K limit, and a QS with 6K limit. I have a mortgage and a car loan and make about 90K per year.
I always keep my utilization under 1% and have had perfect history since I started rebuilding. I have a paid judgement 5 years old and several 90 day lates from 4 years ago from before I got my mortgage refinanced.
I really have enough credit but I have been lusting after that CSR. I did not have a previous relationship with Chase and from everything that I read on here I didn't really think I had a chance at it. My scores are TU 700, EQ 687, and EX 673. I have 4 new accounts in the last 2 years, 3 cc and 1 car loan.
I decided to go into a chase branch today to open a checking account to start a relationship with them. I asked my banker while she was setting me up with the checking account to check for any credit card offers. The CSP was one of the offers. I remembered reading on here that many of the people here that had an offer for the CSP had success getting approved for the CSR. I figured what the heck, no guts no glory. My banker plugged my information in and a minute later approved for 13K! I actually high fived my banker I was so happy!
Anyway, I don't post much on here, but I do read every day. Thank you all for pointing me in the right direction to get my dream card that I didn't think that I had a shot at at this point in my rebuild. I believe my scores are some of the lowest that I've seen get approved for this card. Never thought that I would be so exited getting approved for a credit card.
Take care
