Chase Freedom Approval 8-24

Decided to try my luck at my Chase branch.  online i had no prequals.  Lady asked me for my debit card and license.  said i was approved for freedom and slate.   took the freedom cause of the cashback.    ended up being approved for $1500.   ive banked with them for 6 years now and this is my first CC thru them.  Smiley Happy))  curiously asked if i could also apply for the slate since i would have a chance of it being 1 HP instead of 2. she looked at me funny, then checked and told me i had no more preapprovals. these forums are great!   that was my last card as ive been approved for chase freedom and best buy visa in the last week. time to garden!  Smiley Happy

Technically if you do that you're not 'taking advantage' of the interest free period because you wouldn't accrue any interest anyway, paying in full each month.
