So I've had an nRewards card with NFCU for 18 months now. It started out as a $500 secured card when I was still making Ch 13 payments. After I got my discharge, it was unsecured and I got a CLI to $2000.
Two months ago, since I was planning some international travel, I applied for and was approved for a Flagship rewards card (no FTF) with a $5000 line. Today, I got to thinking that I don't really need two different cards to earn points and decided to PC my nRewards card over to a Cash rewards card. The member services rep said it was no problem to make that change and asked what CL I'd like on my new card. I knew from reading this forum that they will counter offer, so I asked for $10,000. She came back with an instant counter offer....of $12,500! Makes me wonder if I should have asked for more. ;-)
I am so lucky to be an NFCU member and have these boards (and my retired Navy brother-in-law) to thank for introducing me to the best credit union out there.

Congrats! Thanks for sharing.
sounds like she put in for more despite you... always ask for $25k with Navy Credit Cards and CLI requests for the full counter but looks like you got a full counter... congrats!
Very nice! Congratulations!
