No instant approval yesterday, showed as denied after a few minutes. Thread: http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Card-Applications/Uber-Visa-quot-Thanks-for-your-interest-You...
Called recon today who said I was denied due to short history (Fair reason, my oldest account is shy of a year and a half), but after asking a few questions (income confirmation, employment confirmation, how much I pay each month, etc.), I was approved for $2.5k!
The application status site changed as well:
Congratulations! On 12/20/2017 you were approved for the
Uber Visa Card with a Credit Line of $2,500.00
You'll receive your card, pin and card member agreement within the next 10 days.
I did try to ask for a bit more (Specifically that the VS benefits would keep it at the front of my wallet), but that was a no-go.
So far I'm pretty happy with Barclaycard's service overall, now I'm just waiting for the card!
Double congratulations!! 👍👍
Congrats! Well done
Side note (Forgot to mention this earlier) I got the max 24.74%. I always PIF so that's all the same to me, but I'd still like to see them come in LOWER. I read they sometimes have an offer to lower it in the future, so that would be nice.

Yes, Barclay's will entertain APR reduction requests.
Nice recon and good job on not taking no for an answer! The worst they can always say is no.
Do you know your TU FICO at the time?

Somewhere between 750 and 741. The 9 points loss from November to now was due to a BofA CLI and a few extra dollars that reported (but nothing over 1% util). I already got an alert that Barclaycard reported the account, so I'm sure I'll see the AAoA hit on my next update as well. I'm glad they did it now though instead of waiting until the first statement as most issuers do -- that'll help my AAoA in the future.
I'll see if they include it in the letter like BofA; I suspect I have a letter on the way first for the initial denial.
