While I was reviewing my Experian report I noted that AMEX soft pulled me on Oct 18. This CR Score would much lower than my normal score as I had a temporary bump in UTIL that dropped my scores 30 pts. Well this has been corrected and by Nov 4th this should be back to normal on CR. On Nov 23rd Im eligible for 61st day CLI. If AMEX hasn't soft pulled me again between Nov 4th and the 23rd would my CLI be subject to the out of date Oct 18 pull?

That will be the only information that Amex has, so yes, they'll base it off of that pull. I'm not sure if you can request that they soft you again. It may just be best to wait until you see a new account review pull before applying for the CLI.

Probably so. Most people report that when they ask for a CLI, the CR used is approx a month or so old.

Ok. If my CR doesnt show another SP from AMEX after the 4th then I should wait for CLI until it has been pulled?

Yes....wait until you see a new AR pull before going for that CLI...

Do your best to get that report looking great for them on the next SP.
Sorry you have to wait a little longer.

I still have time. Not due for CLI request for another 3 weeks or so. The last SP was Oct 18 so I guess they would pulled again around that point. My report is basically fixed now. I regained 20 of the lost 30 points on EQ and will get the rest by week's end.

They ARed me on the 18th as well. Before that, it was 9/4 and 8/16. I was planning on asking them to reconsider my 61-day CLI denial through executive customer service. I'll see if they can force a new AR.

I just talked to Keith in the exec office. He's going to call someone to see if they can override the system and pull a new account review. We had a pleasant conversation about the mistake of going to Costco when you're hungry and he said he'd advocate for me to see what they could get done. I'll report back.
