I thought you could get a statement credit with your cash back but now that i have earned a few cash back bucks, I now see you can request a check but not apply it to your account.

 Am I reading that right?

I got the 150.00 for the 1000 spend in 3 months promo offer and had to split 100 to statement pay, then 50.00 to statement pay. the site is a little confusing. it took me a good 30 mins to figure it out.

Yeah I think you can get check or apply to statement.  Another way is to get gift card which they occasionally have better than 1 blue cash to 1 us dollar ratio.
