So my Zync came in today, and it looks amazing.
I called CSR and they said my internal limit is only $1500, Does anyone know how much I should use it to raise this internal limit?

YMMV, but as much as possible can't hurt.

Does anyone else have any opinions.......?

IMO, if you charge more than the 1.5k a month they could possibly raise it as they see you can handle larger limits? Just a guess.

Most likely once you get past your first month you probably won't have any problems... I almost always ONLY pay my credit cards through my bank bill pay "Pusshing" Payments as Suze Orman says vs. putting your checking information into a banks system and allowing them to "Pull" Payments.
American Express is the exception to this! I would add your checking account because I have had either Amex call me or me get declined at a register and all they would want is a payment ahead of schedule (ie. middle of the month, hit the internal limits but no bill currently due) you can either stop using it and you won't have to pay until actually due but if you want to push a lot through it and get internal line up, I would just say go ahead and pay balance off checking account on account, they will unlock the account right then and there and the payments will take a few days to even go through... They are great usually when it comes to spending limits

I got my Zync back in Dec. 2011 with a $1k internal limit. I began to charge everything on it and build history with Amex. Fast forward to today and my internal limit is $9k. Not bad for only 5 months use. Of course, I always pay in full (charge card) and I always pay the very day the statement cuts. The first months were a bit difficult because I would need to make multiple payments a month with such a low internal limit. This is a personal card so the most I've charged in a month has been $4k.
I would say, charge as much as you can on this but be sure you can pay it off in full and on time every month. Build solid history and the internal limit will begin to creep up.

Best advice I can give is to use it heavily and pay it off in full when you approach your internal limit, even if that occurs before your payment is due... Amex will accept multiple payments per month... Your internal limit will grow based on how much you use the card, and how much you pay to the card each month. Use it heavily, pay it often and in full, your internal limit has the potential to grow like crazy!

I got my internal limit from $3500 to 70k in 2-3 months.
If you have the spare cash and need it raised up a lot, put some charges on the zync and then call customer service and ask to pay more than your limit (i think you can do it up to 5 or 8k). So for example, if you limit is 1500, you charge 100 dollars. When charges post, you call amex and pay 5100 or 8100. That gives you positive balance and now you can spend postive balance+1500. If you juice this during one billing period, the amex computers will see that you were responsible spending xxxx a month and your internal limit skyrockets.

I got my card in Feb, have been spending about 3500 per month on it so far... I've been paying it down as it approached 3k every time, because that was what I had previously checked my spending at. My balance is currently $0, waiting for statement to cut, my fiance is going to apply for NFCU platinum, so I wanted this account at 0 since he is an ACM
