AMEX & Debt-To-Income/Credit Utilization Ratio

Hi team, I received a AMEX Green preapproval letter in the mail this week. If I were to get approved, how would this impact my DTI and CU ratio since there is no CL theoretically? Always appreciate your time and insight.

it's not calculated in to your utilization on EQ and EX.  Sometimes it does not report correctly on TU and then gets calculated in

To add, DTI and CC utilization are two different things and DTI isn't a part of FICO scoring (because of the income reference). YMMV based on your lender I think. I'm home shopping right now and one lender told me that cards that you have to PIF, like an Amex charge, aren't factored into DTI. To add to Creditaddict, virtually all versions of EX and EQ FICO scores don't score the utilization on an Amex charge. Newer versions of TU FICO ('04 and beyond) don't score it into utilization. However, the TU FICO version on here and still used by many lenders does factor it into CC utilization based on the high balance in relation to the current balance.
