Andrews FCU visa?

Does anyone have any info on this credit union? Ive searched the forum and WGMC and there's really nothing on them. I been looking to join a CU for a low APR visa, just in case i ever need to carry a balance. Im wondering how they are with issuing CL's and how they are overall as an institution? Are they sensitive to anything? Any info would be greatly appreciated! :smileyhappy:

Re: Andrews FCU visa?

I don't know much about them, but they're on my radar because they have a true Chip-and-PIN, no-foreign-transaction-fee Visa card. And joining is open to anyone who signs up for a free association membership.

So +1 to what you asked...I'm also curious to hear some people's experience with them.

Starting: EQ 622 (myFICO 7/7/12), EX 696 (TU FAKO 8/14/12), TU 621 (CK TransRisk 7/24/12) Current: EQ 675 (myFICO 9/26/13), EX 712 (CreditSesame FAKO 10/9/13) , TU 696 (WalMart 10/3/13) Goal: 700+ x3
My Wallet: Amex BCP $10k, Amex Zync NPSL (> 10k), Chase CSP VS $9.2k, C1 Venture VS $5k, Amex SPG $4.5k, Barclaycard Apple V $2k, Walmart (Store) $1.2k, Chase Freedom V $600, BoA Cash Rewards V $500, Best Buy Rewards MC $500
Dream Wallet:Barclaycard Arrival WMC (replace C1 Venture), Amex Platinum (replace Zync eventually), Andrews FCU Global V (chip + PIN for travel). Otherwise, pretty happy with my portfolio now.

Not much data on them in the releveant credit databases: appears to have always pulled EX for every entry I could find; however, that's not a large statistical sample but for a random CU, it's a reasonable assumption that they'll exclusively pull the one.

Thanks for the tip on the Chip + PIN availability Conductor.
