Authorized Users

I have recently added my husband as an AU on Washington Mutual (now Chase) credit card to help with improving his credit.  I called the credit card comapny to find out when they report to CRB and she told me they do not report AU!  I thought they all reported.

Re: Authorized Users

I dunno. I'm about to tell Chase (formerly WaMu) to go away because of the ridiculous monthly fees they're assessing against some cardmembers. They've taken pains to tell me that I'm not going to face that, but I think it's a horrible practice. Ugh. I hope you're being spared that new "feature".

I do know that BofA and Discover report AUs. I have a younger relative who's on those two cards. I'd considered adding him to my WaMu before Chase bought them, but never really looked to see if it'd help him. I assumed they all reported, too.
